Birthmark cover up.
Birthmark cover up.

Deni came to me after I did a tattoo for her son. She has a birthmark that covers large portions of her body and wanted to know about tattooing over it. I was very concerned about this and made sure she had clearance from her physician before we began. She had some really cool ideas for her tattoo and let me take them and run. We used the edge of the birthmark as the boundary line for the tattoo and it created a misty, smoky look that I really like. I hope to get some healed photos of all of this in the near future.

This tattoo was a huge and ambitious project. It was originally going to be in full color. Not long after we started my client got the news that they were moving out of state so I put a rush on it. We scrapped the plans for color and did it all with crosshatching and shading.

Android arm

This tattoo was a total joy to do. All of it was drawn on by hand and I completed each piece as we went. I love seeing it move on their body. If you see them out and about I am sure they will show it off for you.

Spring hare and tulips

Here is another terrible photo of a cool tattoo. This is a spring hare and some tulips.

Spring hare and tulips

You can see the image a little better in this photo.

Grandfather clock

This grandfather clock accompanies the hare and tulips.

Tulips and horseshoe

This horseshoe and the tulips are on the same arm as the clock and hare.

Tree and roots

This is a tree and it’s roots. this tattoo represents the client’s family and heritage.

Tribal dragon

This is a tribal dragon.

Mask

This mask is from a video game. I believe it was Crash Bandicoot.

Antler shed

This antler shed fit nicely into the little space I had to fill.

All seeing eye and wings

Here is another tattoo that I never got to complete for whatever reason. I have a lot of these floating around.

Wolf head

The outline for this is strong and bold and holds together on it’s own. I hope someday to shade this in as I originally intended.

Wolf

Wolves and a common tattoo theme. Don’t let that deter you from getting one for yourself. Each wolf, much like people, has it’s own personality. I try to let that shine trough when I tattoo them.

Down with my demons

This tattoo can be interpreted in two ways. You can either embrace your demons, live with them and work around them or you can fight them and bring them down. Either way, I am down with this tattoo.

Wisconsin skull

This tattoo is healed and settled in in this photo. It is aging nicely.

Footprint

This baby footprint has a tiny rose in the heel.

Orchids

Orchids are beautiful flowers. I can never seem to keep them alive at home though.

Eagle and mountains

Here is an eagle taking flight .

Warthog A-10

A Warthog A-10 is a type of fighter plane.
